rixboy Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 Can anyone help here? I opened a file from psd with a mockup inside, but when opened the view of the mockup is messy. Any suggestions on what should I do? Quote
Hangman Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 Hi @rixboy and welcome to the forums, This looks like a masking issue... are you able to upload the psd file so we can take a look? rixboy Posted April 18, 2023 Author Posted April 18, 2023 Sure, actually there's no problem if I open it in photopea or psd, but when I uploaded to Affinity Photo it happened. Lanyard_Mockup_2.psd Quote

Hangman Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 @rixboy, this appears to be a bug specific to v1.10, as in it opens correctly it v1.7.3, v2.0.4 and the current beta v2.1.0.1742. In v1.10 a series of live perspective filters have been added which don't appear when the file is opened in any other versions so it looks like a bug which I don't believe will be fixed now we've moved on to v2 of the software... Hangman Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 Uncheck Import PSD Smart Objects Where Possible in the General preferences and the file will open correctly. rixboy Posted April 18, 2023 Author Posted April 18, 2023 Aaahh ... let me try it. thanks for you answer. Quote
rixboy Posted April 19, 2023 Author Posted April 19, 2023 Now it's not messed anymore. Another problem is ... I've unchecked it but now it can be editted. Any one can help again for this, please? Quote
rixboy Posted April 19, 2023 Author Posted April 19, 2023 Yeah I understand now. it's better to make the mockup by myself hehe Thanks for all your help guys! Quote
Hangman Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 You can equally open the file with Import PSD Smart Objects Where Possible enabled and make a few simple tweaks while maintaining editability. Affinity Photo hasn't translated Photoshop's smart objects accurately but it's reasonably easy to fix... rixboy 1 Quote Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse
