It doesn't know all the place-names in the world and these crop up as errors, needing attention to shorten the list. The Word exclusions would be a good idea too - Cheers! walt.farrell Posted April 15, 2023 Share Posted April 15, 2023 The Auto-Correct function and Spell Checking are not related to each other, so I don't think that's a good place for such an option. I can understand the desire for having an option like that somewhere, but not there I probably would not use that option, by the way. I prefer to verify that the capitalized words are spelled correctly, then either Learn or Ignore them. That way, a misspelled location name won't slip through accidentally. Also, lack of that option is not a Bug. This is a Feature Request, and as such is more appropriate in the Feedback section of the forum. Now that Publisher has cross references (although it's delayed until 2.2), my #1 feature request is options to ignore capitalised words for spell check and hyphenation.
