Image Trace > Expand Tool in the future?

Is there a way to “image trace > expand” in Affinity designer?

in Adobe illustrator you can easily convert a .jpeg or .png into a vector with these commands, do they / will they exist in Affinity programs?

@N.P.M. Yes I used the search option and I was at a loss for finding my questions, maybe they are buried or worded differently.

@N.P.M. Super rude way of responding by the way. You could at least prioritize feature requests by ranking them by how many people requested the same feature. Thinking of it this way, each request has value even if it is repeated.

Just to let you know, N.P.M. is another forum member like yourself and not a member of the Affinity team - therefore they have no control over the Feedback section of the forums.

I'll be sure to pass your feedback regarding feature requests through to our team here as I agree a 'ranking' style system would be ideal for commonly requested features.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what part of my previous response would lead to believe this - I specifically chose to only respond regarding the layout of the Feedback section of the Affinity Forums to clarify to the OP that you have no control over this.

We're always looking at ways to improve how we receive and 'count' feedback from our users, and a voting style system has been discussed previously - though this has both positives and negatives for our team to consider and therefore for the time being we are keeping with the current system.

In my comment I provided my personal opinion, which I have shared both internally and externally, that I agree a voting based system could make it easier for our team to understand our users wishes for the Affinity suite, though the final choice here is not mine to make.

Even if we were to implement such a system, it would not inherently mean that these features would absolutely be added to the Affinity suite - again in my opinion it would simply make the numbers easier to track. The way in which we track feature requests (either internally or externally here on the Forums) would not affect our teams ability or focus on fixing bugs.
