The Scroll Bar disappears unless you are zooming in or out. I need this function often but I have to zoom to catch it in time before it disappears again.

I am looking for "menu document" "document setup" and just plain "document" but I am not finding the resource manager or links manager anywhere. And searching using "help" brings up nothing. Where am I supposed to look for this? I am using Designer

@N.P.M. Super rude way of responding by the way. You could at least prioritize feature requests by ranking them by how many people requested the same feature. Thinking of it this way, each request has value even if it is repeated.

@N.P.M. I can send you a screen recording. It defiantly does not allow me to add text to the side I choose, either not at all or without multiple tries.

Node tool inconveniences

@N.P.M. 1. Thank you! I'm glad it is on the radar. 2. I see it is possible to move the ruler line from the ruler itself. I think I was hoping I could move the ruler line while I am inside the document like I can with the Move tool. But this also works. -
Is there a way to “image trace > expand” in Affinity designer? in Adobe illustrator you can easily convert a .jpeg or .png into a vector with these commands, do they / will they exist in Affinity programs?

1. When creating a curve and placing text on it - I should be able to select which side of the curve I want the text to be placed on, depending where I click the cursor. The text gets placed on a default side, then I have to use the sliders to force the text on the side I want it. 2. Warping text - This is not a part of the artistic text tool. There is this “Warp Group>Mesh” tool I have used before but I would say it is very effort heavy to adjust all of the points individually. Also it automatically creates a new group with way too many layers, making the process messy. The program has crashed multiple times while using that Warp Group>Mesh feature specifically. It's also difficult to find inside the program. I would love to see a "warp text" tool that is not overly sensitive.

2 main concerns here: 1. I cannot copy-paste selected notes - when I select a few nodes from a “curve”/shape to copy a specific section from that curve, it copies the entire “curve”/shape. 2. I cannot move the ruler lines using the node tool only the move tool.

Update, I have lost access to 3 more files. I have gone through the process of uninstalling the app, resetting user settings, storing the files on my hard drive, adjusting the performance settings, and everything recommended to me. Nothing so far has helped me open my files except for assisted recovery of the files by someone at Serif. I really hope Serif fixes these problems in the next version.😔

The file is stored on icloud but also just on my desktop. I don't think I should shared it on the public forum. Unless it will take very long for Serif to reply, then I wouldn't mind sharing. Update* moving my document to the hard drive did not help it open successfully @MikeTO

Why does Affinity Designer 2 sometimes decide it just doesn't want to open a file? I have lost access to 2 files now, they just sit on my desktop. The program tries to open the file but it just sits there saying "Loading 1 Document" forever. I have to force quit the program. It will just never open certain files. This seems to happen to any files roughly over 200KB.

It's terrifying for a designer, knowing sometimes your files are just rendered useless. There seems to be no customer support except on Facebook messenger...
