Select by layer for Affinity Designer/ Publisher

Please add a select all objects on a layer. I often group objects together or put them in a layer in which each object has the same appearance. It would be a major help if I could select all objects on a layer or in a group. This also helps when modifying imported DXF files.

You can select all the objects that are on a Layer (note the capital L). Just turn off Edit All Layers (bottom left icon in the Layers panel), make sure the Layer is selected in the Layers panel, and Ctrl+A (Windows) or Cmd+A (Mac) or use Select > Select Same > ... or Select > Select Object > .... Also works with objects on an Artboard.

Does not work for objects in a Group, though, as far as I know.
