Vector Warp is completely non-functional

Whenever I try to warp an object in Affinity Designer 2, the object glitches out or does not warp whatsoever.

This has just started to happen within the last day.

I think it’s worth noting that the Warp Group functionality of Designer doesn’t, by design, currently affect pixel-based layers.
This may contribute, in part, to the problem that is being seen here.

The disappearing part is a view/render bug, but the rest, is just poor warp tool. I upgraded to V2 thinking I will be able to warp stuff, but so far, you can only warp shapes. Groups and what is inside a shape will NOT be warped. It's the most basic of warp tool you could imagine :)) Hope they do a better job next time, or at least make the whole designer suite like publisher (with all the personas working), so you have raster filters too.
