Benfischer Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 I think this is a long standing bug, but it's still present in the Designer 2.1 beta. when applying a vector brush to the stroke of a shape (like Rectangle or Ellipse), a gap is present at the start/end point. Both iPad and Desktop versions. This in 1736. It can be somewhat avoided by converting to curves and breaking the curve at the gap point, but in the case of an ellipse, that results in a slight overlap issue where the curves overlap as a straight-ish segment that sticks out beyond the curvature of the circle. Staff Sean P Posted April 5, 2023 Staff Posted April 5, 2023 Hi Benfischer, Thank you very much for the feedback! I've passed this on for consideration. Quote
NotMyFault Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 To add a bit context: this happens even in case you try to cut off any gaps in head and tail of the brush. You would need to create a brush from scratch with a hard head and tail.
