I have a bunch of missing fonts reported in Publisher.  I do not use these fonts and not sure where they came from.  They are not represented in the Font Manager. How do I get rid of these errors???

You can click on the right side of the preflight error font message to locate the missing font it in the document. So manually change the font. Fonts can be different although the same name, more ore less.

If @pruus' advice does not help: If you can share a .afpub file that generates those messages, we may be able to help you locate them.

Did you have imported an AI or PSD file? These problems can also been seen when working on a Windows desktop and loading the file in on a Mac. This is what I have seen. Please try the method above to find the missing fonts in the document.

I do not use AI or PSD at all in my own work.  BUT I think some of the graphics that come from our advertisers and sponsors are created in Adobe, then saved and sent as PDF.   I just exported one of the PDF ads to PNG and verified that at least some of the missing fonts disappeared from the list.

The original method you mentioned ( click on the right side of the preflight error font message to locate the missing font it in the document) does not find any missing fonts.

Thank you for your help, pruus!
