I'm not sure what's happening with the iPad layer, but the Front Cover image had an opacity of 46%. Changing it to 100% made it darker.

Also, can you confirm what version/release of Designer 2 you used to create that file? When I tried to open it in 2.0.4 it said it had features from a newer version, but it opened fine in 2.1.0.1730 Beta.

Using 2.1.0.1730 Beta. Strange, my 'front' image shows 100 percent . . . how did you arrive at 46? Thanks

Thanks. In that case, a Moderator will probably move this to the correct section of the forums, Other New Bugs and Issues in the Betas.

I opened it in Designer 2 Beta on iPad, clicked on that layer in the Layers studio, and checked the layer properties, which showed 46% opacity.

And sorry; it was the Double-Click to Change layer within Front Cover where I found that:

Also, I see that it has a layer blend mode of Darker Color, which might also do odd things.

But neither of those seems to explain the Double Click to Replace layer within the iPad layer, as that one is 100% and Normal blend mode.

Thanks, Walt. Re the strange behaviour with the middle image, I turned off the background layer, turned back on and bingo  , , , everything was as expected! Very strange behaviour . . .
