Aaron Martin Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 when adding contour on complex vectors, the result will delete some of the selected layers (Video for reference) For other people with the same issue, my work around is to select all the layers that you want to add contour and click on Divide function before adding contour (Workaround also showcased in the reference video) Screen Recording 2023-03-17 at 7.00.01 PM.mov   downside is you may end up with more than necessary layers. Staff Lee D Posted March 17, 2023 Staff Posted March 17, 2023 Would it be possible to get a copy of that vector, not the entire document just that one shown in the video copied to a blank new document and saved. So I may do some testing ? Quote
lepr Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Affinity's current implementation of contouring tends to force 'Open' mode when there is a self-intersecting loop in a curve. Divide helps because it separates a curve into multiple curves at its self-intersections. Quote
