Hi you all !

After fidelling some time with the node tool I gave up..................

Please take a look at the horn-original, the idea is to entirely cut the middle section of the horn.

But that's easier said then done 🙂

each node which I cut gives more and more 'black' instead of 'white' area because they are all connected somehow.

how to proceed? it almost seems that drawing a new one from scratch is faster ?!

any thougths?

thanks

I am going to assume that this is a Designer file/document. And I am assuming this is a Curves layer (Curves not Curve).

I would be tempted to just duplicate the layer (for safety) then draw a Curve in the centre area and then do a boolean subtract.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I've first would rasterize that (make a bitmap out of it), remove/overdraw the inner parts and save the result as JPG/PNG. Then afterwards vectorize the result to get again vectors here!

Thanks a lot guys !

That did the trick 🙂

The plan is the project the horn with my laser but the figure was too complex for the laser.

That's why I had to reduce the number of paths

best regards
