I use the aforementioned tablet to edit my photos. It comes with a control wheel that has 4 functions: auto scroll/zoom, cycle layers, brush size and rotate. Auto scroll/zoom, cycle layers and rotate work as expected but brush size does not. Instead it also cycles layers. I've tried all three input methods (low precision, high precision and Windows Ink) but the problem remains. With Affinity Photo 1 the brush size function works as expected.

Have you set up the Shortcut for the "Brush Size" on the tablet to be the same as the Brush Size Shortcut in Affinity Photo? Here with my Apple standard US English keyboard and Wacom I have the shortcuts for both set to [ and ]

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

But the brush size function comes with [ ] by default. And I cannot manually program a keystroke with [ ] as my keyboard (Swiss layout) lacks dedicated [ ] buttons. I would upload a screenshot to proof it If I could but unfortunately I keep getting an error message (Error 200). And if it was my configuration why would it work in Affinity Photo 1 but not in version 2? It's the same keystroke.

Mapping two different keys for the size decrease/ increase command works but that's only a suboptimal workaround and not a solution. I would have to change the mapping for every single tool that makes use of the size decrease/ increase command. The question remains: I have not changed the default settings of the wacom driver and this setup works flawlessly in Affinity Photo 1. Why wouldn't it work in Affinity Photo 2?

It is in the Preferences Photo and Paint Brush Tool

@AitorHere is the Wacom screen in my Mac OS System Preferences. I have changed the location of the Touch ring from the Default Lower Right to the Upper Left.

I've managed to map the touch ring with the increase and decrease brush size shortcuts, but this way I get a step increment instead of a smooth increment. Is there a way to get a smooth increment? (In other applications such as Krita, it does exist). Thank you!

The fact that you are using a Swiss keyboard with Windows means further advice from me, a Mac user (with an Apple Extended Keyboard that is the standard US layout) is way over my pay grade. In other words I would be guessing about stuff I have no experience with. Perhaps a Windows user could chime in.

There must be some confusion. I have not referred to the keyboard I am using. In fact I use an ISO keyboard in Spanish on MacOS.

My apologies. I confused Aitor with Altae. Demonstrates the difference between looking and seeing.

I've remapped ü and ä which are dedicated keys on a Swiss keyboard as shortcuts for brush size and this works with my tablet. But it sill feels like a suboptimal workaround to a problem that only exists in Affinity Photo 2 but not in V1.
