tpauly Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 When I Select All and paste into BBEdit all of the text is there. This happens quite frequently. I started using the Save History feature as a result. Sometimes returning to a previous history state reveals the text and sometimes it doesn't. Pies and Tarts.afpub Quote
tpauly Posted February 24, 2023 Author Posted February 24, 2023 It seems to happen when I use the Update "xxx" style in the Text Styles dropdown menu Quote
MikeTO Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Hi @tpauly and welcome to the forums. I recommend turning on Text > Show Special Characters so that you can see your column breaks. There isn't any text in the heading and body frames on page 87. The top frame just as a column break in it, as does the upper body frame below. Then it links to the category which has Fillings in it, then to the lower right body frame which again just has a column break in it. There is no text here to review, but the reasons text might be invisible are you've set it to white, to no fill, or to 0% opacity. Old Bruce Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 Try using Flow attributes in the Paragraph Styles instead of the plethora of Column, Frame and Page breaks which are scattered in the text. For example I changed only the Start: Anywhere to Next page and a lot of the recipes "came back". I then deleted some of the various breaks and more text became visible. tpauly 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. tpauly Posted February 25, 2023 Author Posted February 25, 2023 Brilliant feature. I didn’t know about it. Quote
