Gregory-CJ Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 The WET-EDGES option in the context tool bar is persisting when other non WET-EDGES brushes are selected. This screen shot shows a brush category of four brushes. From the top, the first three brushes do not have WET-EDGES set in both the brush editing panel nor the context tool bar. The fourth brush has set WET-EDGES "on" in both the brush editing panel and the context tool bar. After selecting the fourth brush with its WET-EDGES on and then going back to the top three brushes, each of the non-wet-edge brushes now paints with the WET-EDGES properties, although their Brush editing panel reads as NO-WET-Edges BUT the context tool bar shows the WET-EDGES has been selected which is a problem. To get back to a non-wet-edges brush , I first have to click on a non-wet-edges brush and then click on the brush that was initially non wet-edges to "reset" the brush back to its original setting. Please help correct this issue. Also, my IMAC freezes, when I rapidly run through each brush selection. Quote
Staff stokerg Posted February 23, 2023 Staff Posted February 23, 2023 Hi @Gregory-CJ, This isn't a bug and is by design. @walt.farrelldoes a good job of explaining these options here. So for your first 3 brushes, if you edit the brushes and set Wet Edges to off, those brushes will always have wet edges off when you select them after using a brush with wet edges enabled. walt.farrell 1 Quote
Gregory-CJ Posted February 23, 2023 Author Posted February 23, 2023 Thanks Stokerg, Yes, you are correct that a brush setting of Normal >"set Wet Edges to off" does preserve these settings when returning back to it after using a brush with "set Wet Edges on." My confusion lay in the fact that I was using the setting > don't set Wet edges. I came to realize that this setting allows for the previous brush settings to be transferred to the current brush settings. So I got it straight now. So now, when I have Wet Edges disabled in my brush and a setting of don't set Wet edges and go to a second brush with Wet Edges On and then return to the first brush, it will have the settings of Wet Edges On. So all is good and thanks for your input Sokerg. Quote
