igorcf
I recently acquired the new affinity designer v2 and noticed a strange behavior in the pixel persona. Every time I use a brush that has the "wet edges" activated by default when I use the basic brushes they also have the feature activated automatically. This behavior only happens when I change a brush with Wet edge for one from the basic group. If I change a Wet edge brush for a brush from the pencil group, for example, the Wet Edge option is not activated. I am using a pc with windows 11. walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Brush definitions have 3 settings for Wet Edges: Do not set Wet Edges Set Wet Edges Do not change the Wet Edges setting chosen by the user or specified by the last brush used You're probably seeing brushes that use that last option. These are brushes where you might want the setting either way, so the brush leaves it alone. The first two options are for brushes where the brush creator has decided they won't work will with Wet Edges, or won't work well without Wet Edges, so they force the setting initially. igorcf and SrPx 2 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
