stinkykong Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Attached screenshot shows same file, an EPS probably originating in Illustrator, opened in Affinity Designer 1 and 2. 2 is on the left, 1 on the right. File opened in V1 is true to the PNGs and PDFs that came with it. Opacity is 100%. I can't understand why V2 isn't showing true color. RGB, HSL values also are different. Quote
walt.farrell Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Can you share the EPS file with us? Is it one you Opened, or one you Placed? Does the EPS perhaps use Pantone colors. There's at least one logged problem in that case: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/search/&tags=AFD-6216 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. stinkykong Posted February 21, 2023 Author Posted February 21, 2023 Thanks for your reply. I am not much of a designer. I don't see any reference Pantone in the Colors or Swatches palettes in either V1 or V2. The colors used (2) aren't listed at all in swatches. Quote
Staff Callum Posted March 1, 2023 Staff Posted March 1, 2023 Hi StinkyKong, If possible could you provide a copy of the file in question? Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
