I removed the background from the image using the feather tool! After that, how do I separate the two, in firework I just cut the objects and they separated, how does it work here?

@maisondasilva, welcome to the forums...

A couple of options, hopefully these two screen recordings will help but just ask if you have any questions or if something doesn't make sense... Once cropped you can either save in the appropriate file format or copy and paste into a new document depending on what you need to do the with images...

Option 1

Option 2

Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0
Affinity Designer 2.6.2 (3213) Beta | Affinity Photo 2.6.2 (3213) Beta | Affinity Publisher 2.6.2 (3213) Beta

MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse
HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse

It's also easy doable without the cropping tool at all, instead just using a rectangular selection and then copy/paste the selected area, which will give you then two new layers with just the selected portions. - You dismiss (get rid of) any selection made with Ctrl-/Cmd-D.

Do I need to mark it as solved, and how do I do that?

I don't think there's an explicite forum option for this, in case you want to indicate that it's solved you can also edit the thread title to something like "(SOLVED) How can I separate these two images with a transparent background!". Or maybe add a "solved" tag to your inital thread posting etc.

Thanks, I've updated the title!

Can I unite the Design and Pixel tools on the same screen?

If you go to the View menu and select Customise Tools at the bottom, you can add any of the available tools to the toolbar and likewise remove any you don't want in both the Design and Pixel Personas.

Affinity Designer 2.6.2 (3213) Beta | Affinity Photo 2.6.2 (3213) Beta | Affinity Publisher 2.6.2 (3213) Beta

v_kyr and Hangman were using Photo while you are using Designer.

Each application has its own selection of tools which are available, and each tool is normally only available in a certain persona within that application. (There are some which are available in more than one persona, e.g. Move Tool, but they are few.)

The tools from one persona are not available in another persona.

My idea was if you could use the two actives at the same time, but I believe not, as in the image below, one next to the other! No need to click on top to switch from one to the other!

Some tools are vector specific, others raster specific which is why that wouldn't really work and why we have the different persona's, e.g., the Designer and Pixel persona's within Designer which are pretty seamless...
