Staff MEB Posted February 13, 2023 Staff Share Posted February 13, 2023 Hi @Insane_Fox, I'm assuming you are using Affinity Photo. Is that correct? If so, no. the Mesh Warp Tool doesn't convert an object (even a vector object) to curves. You can only apply it destructively (which output it imediately to a pixel layer) or apply the non-destructive version as a filter which let's you keep the deformation editable. Only the Warp Groups in Designer are able to be converted to curves. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Old Bruce
Use the Convert to curves when you have the Warp Group layer selected, not the curve or whatever is being warped. Appologies for the difficult to read letters in the names. Part of the really really poor User Interface design decisions made by the Software Design experts. D.VE
Is there a way to "render" the warp objects somehow without converting it into curves? Since text layers get lost then... regards, Dave
