Mvpixel Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Your genius export persona, does STILL not do its simplest and only task is supposed to deliver: EXPORTING!. It is bugged since the beginning, you click on Export slices and it just loads forever and the application gets stuck. It hasn't being fixed STILL after 2 years at least I am using this product, have seen many many threads about this and NOTHING DONE. Do I have to specify the fact that EXPORTING is a fundamental task of design softwares like this? that the only purpose of making designs is to the EXPORT it in a rapid and efficient way? FIX IT ASAP and now with your genius model of V2 of your product we are left with this half working thing. Not moving forwards with your company's products for sure. You had a chance, you lost it. Mvpixel Posted February 7, 2023 Author Posted February 7, 2023 Well, eventually I am really disappointed with the way Affinity is handling their product choices.I am not talking about exporting to AI here, is the basic export to PNG or any other format function that does not work, the Export Slices function in the Export persona, and is not working since beginning. I have seen other posts about it and said nothing for really long in wait for some doing coming from the company fixing a core BUG I tought was gonna be obviously a priority, since it literally does not do one of the most important and basic thing needed in Design. You have clearly focused your effort into V2, and completely slacked V1 updates keeping this product you have already sold, that clearly does not fully function under many aspects. Quote

It's working for many of us. 14 minutes ago, Mvpixel said: I have seen other posts about it and said nothing for really long in wait for some doing coming from the company fixing a core BUG I tought was gonna be obviously a priority, since it literally does not do one of the most important and basic thing needed in Design Pointers to those discussions would be helpful, as otherwise we users (and probably Serif staff, too) have no idea what you're talking about. Staff NathanC Posted February 8, 2023 Staff Posted February 8, 2023 Hi @Mvpixel, There is an issue currently logged with the developers which relates to the export persona intermittently freezing in the finder window with cloud service synced folders (such as Onedrive/Google Drive) present via the export persona, i've bumped the existing issue with your report.
