blondie63 Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 When I click on the Affinity icon on the springboard I expect the work I'm doing to open, as per the standard UI but no.. Quote
walt.farrell Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 If you are saying that you minimized the application window to the Dock, with documents open, and you're having trouble getting the application window back when you click on the Dock, then that's a known issue with some the V2 apps on some macOS releases. For example, please see bug tag AFP-4836: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/search/&tags=AFP-4836 Dan C 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. There are many bugs that are known but not yet fixed. No one but Serif knows how they assign priorities, but the last release (2.0.4) was a very limited one focused on a few very serious bugs. This one apparently didn't qualify, or was too difficult, or they simply didn't have time. MikeTO Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 This bug is also easy to workaround - instead of clicking the app icon in the doc, click the minimized document icon in the dock. walt.farrell 1 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.6 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.6 for macOS Sequoia 15.3, MacBook Pro (M4 Pro) and iPad Air (M2)
