Summerman
I have an object that has been rotated and I want to get the true width of the object and not the rotated bounding box. I'm used to working with Inkscape where the width of rotated object changes it is rotated. Is there a work around?
Old Bruce
Use the Boolean Add function for something like this, meaning one curve. If you have several shapes inside a group then the Add would be a possibly bad idea. lepr
Don't do a Boolean operation unless you actually want to destructively modify the selected object(s). Instead, simply press the period key to toggle between 'base box' and 'regular bounds'. Old Bruce
