Publisher: Text inset adjustments by .01" per arrow press. Missing from V.2? Why?

I think it should be in .01 increments - I've logged the issue

Do you have any idea of when we might get a fix for this?

I just finished a publication job and spent (wasted) a lot of time manually entering inset values.

It worked perfectly in V1--can't that code be transferred to V2?

On the Mac, it will increment only in 0.1 inch steps (and defaults to 1.0 inch) --we need 0.01 steps.

Publisher is the hub of Affinity's entire effort. They HAVE to make this program work. They need to FIX the PDF export issue also, ASAP. If you set the CMYK color values in Designer, then export to PDF, those color values should remain the same. Then, if you place the PDF in a Publisher document, as most designers do, and then output that document to PDF to send to the printer (thus having PDFs embedded in the Publisher PDF container), the CMYK color values in the embedded PDF (originally created in Designer, exported to PDF, placed in Publisher, and then embedded in the resulting PDF exported from Publisher), SHOULD REMAIN THE SAME! But, currently, they DON'T! No professional can work with that.

Serif do not comment on timelines for bug fixes or we would do nothing else all day. This issue has been bumped to reflect you are affected.

The issue "Text Frame panel Unit control inches" (REF: AFB-7215) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1781".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
