  1. I just purchased the Affinity add ons: Letter & Grid Builder Bundle by Ian Barnard and Stefan Kunz and Handwritten Font Bundle by Ian Barnard, but I'm having a hard time using these. Is there a video(s) that demonstrate their use? Specifically, I need to insert letters (words) into the individual grids. Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks!
  2. It would be very helpful (with less wasted time) if it is possible to be able to save customized PDF export settings. I like to work in "Spreads" layout so I can see what will appear on facing pages, but need to export as separate pages. Appreciate your feedback. Thanks, JEP
  3. Do you have any idea of when we might get a fix for this? I just finished a publication job and spent (wasted) a lot of time manually entering inset values. It worked perfectly in V1--can't that code be transferred to V2? On the Mac, it will increment only in 0.1 inch steps (and defaults to 1.0 inch) --we need 0.01 steps.
  4. This STILL is not fixed on the newest Beta version (2.1.0.1736)! Are we ever going to get a fix for this?
  5. Worked perfectly in V1. Please restore in V2. See: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/180447-publisher-text-inset-adjustments-by-01-per-arrow-press-missing-from-v2-why/#comment-1042399
  6. Sorry R C-R. This is NOT a viable option--everything else is in inches--doing constant conversions is even more cumbersome and time-consuming--it's impractical for us attempting to do layouts/publications with real-time deadlines. As Mike W077 said, "Those of us using Publisher for production need this fixed ASAP."
  7. Yes, entering a small value works, but is veery time consuming. I'm attaching screen recording that shows this. The inset settings & defaults worked perfectly in V1--can't they be restored for V2? Do you have an idea of if or when we could expect a fix for this? Screen Recording 2023-02-13 at 11.41.45 AM.mov
  8. Agree completely with Mike W077--it's very frustrating and time consuming to have to manually enter each numeric value when doing fine adjustments to fit text. For example, if you enter an inset value (eg, 0.005") and you require more/less inset, clicking the up/down arrows defaults to 1.0" and increments of 1.0" . This requires you to then stop and manually type in your new inset value (eg. 0.006"). In V1, simply clicking on the up/down inset setting allowed you to quickly see your changes in small increments, and by toggling back and forth, you could decide which inset setting was best. Doing fine adjustments in V2 is very cumbersome and time consuming! I'm not sure who actually would use insets in 1.0" increments (useless except for enormous layouts). I'm hopeful that the next release will fix this problem. Is there anyway to know when the next release might launch?
  9. To be clear, as mentioned above, in Mac OS: in V2 the increment is 0.1, while in V1 it is 0.01 inch.We really need that fine adjustment! This is really needed--I hope someone at AFFINITY is listening.
