vfxwolf
Greetings all, I have a document in Photo v2 that has a model holding a credit card. The card is an embedded Designer v2 document of the card artwork. When I save the document, load up Designer and make changes to the card design and save it, shouldnt the changes be reflected in the Photo document when I reload it? This isnt happening.. when I reload the photo file with the model, she's still holding the old card design.

Go to Window > Resource Manager and choose Make Linked for the document. If you have the option to use updated linked files for the Photo Document. And you need to use Linked instead of Embedded as a Placement Policy. This can be set with the New Document dialog, in the Layout Tab/Section. Or in an existing document go to File > Placement Policy > Linked Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear. AppleGrove
Hey Bruce, is this possible on iPad? I can’t seem to find that ticky box that you highlighted in the pic above. This is kind of driving me nuts! Thanks in advance

When modifying your linked documents externally you will need to manually update the resource - either through the Resource Manager or using the Preflight 'Fix' option.
