Daddywx
Hi, I need to turn a company logo into a png file (remove background). When I select the background to remove it I can't figure out how to also select some of the interior portions. ( Like the center portions of letters).I know this must be a very easy thing but I sure can find it. Could someone help me with his?

I would ask the source to provide me a vector version of their logo instead – usually that would be in PDF, EPS or Illustrator format. Then simply open it in Affinity and export to PNG… Quote MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2

In which format is the artwork that makes up the Company Logo? Is it Pixels or Vectors? How did you make this Logo? I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

If this is a 'flat' pixel (bitmap) file, most of the selections tools have a Mode setting in the context toolbar you can set to add to or subtract from the current pixel selection.
