‘Edit in Photo…’ is greyed/Dimmed. Can’t use.

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

First post here. I am trying edit a project and I want to switch between editing in designer & photo but the option in the menu is greyed out. I assume this is because I am running Affinity Photo 2 whilst my other affinity programs are version 1. I am running the following:

Affinity Photo 2.0.3

Affinity Designer 1.10.6

Affinity Publisher 1.10.6

Does this now mean that I will have to update both designer and publisher if I want to fluidly switch between programs whilst working on a project? Bit of a pain if so. I never had Affinity Photo version 1, I have only recently acquired the program hence I have version 2.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

If you don't want to use APhoto v.2 you could try to get a refund. (… or ask for a download of v1 to complete your set?)

macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1

Serif has shown no sign of providing V1 downloads to customers who don''t have it purchased. The answer would most likely be to buy the full V2 suite.
