PaoloT
Hi, I believe that a list of compatibility could be useful, to understand what is preserved and what is lost when importing/exporting IDML files to/from Publisher. I will therefore maintain a list, that you can enrich and discuss below. I'll add the features as long as they are confirmed by the fellow forum members. Ça va sans dire that this is intended as a feature request to add the missing features. Please, don't use this thread to discuss about workarounds. Just report about missing or added import/export features. Petar Petrenko
For now, it would be quite enough if they add footnote/endnote import in Publisher. Ghost Rider
Is there an export to IDML now? I cannot find it...new to publisher...but need a way to go back to ID as well/share files...or it may be a no-go.

Works also via copy and paste from Affinity to InDesign. To make PDF editable in InDesign, you need a 3rd party plugin that alone costs as much as two Affinity Universal Licenses… Quote MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2
Ghost Rider
Thx. It’s. It really all about price it’s about not getting stuck down the road… ‘And, if I can ask, how exactly does copy/paste work on a 324 page doc? Surely you don’t suggest opt+a opt+c? PaoloT
@loukash and @Ghost Rider, thank you for your contributions. But may I ask you (and anyone else) to discuss of problems and solutions in one of the other existing threads? I would like this one to remain entirely devoted to the missing (and added) import/export features, so that they can be found as easily as possible.
