jackamus Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 I would like to revisit and old 'complaint' I have had about AD regarding the use of Guides and Bounding boxes. I have discussed at length with moderators and developers why Bounding box nodes disappear when moving a guide to coincide with a node. This can be especially important when drawing centre lines for ellipses and circles. One reason given was it reduced screen clutter. That does not make any sense when one considers the amount of information that can appear when moving objects around. Also would it not be a good idea to give the user the option to decide? I shared this on the AD V1 forum and it has 2 followers one (firstdefence) making a really good suggestion - quote: 'Makes no sense to me either, why not have Always show bounding box as an option on an "Advanced" tab along with a myriad of other settings such as guide colour etc' If adopted could this be also offered to AD V1?
