Freeze with Export persona

Opening AP, opening document, going to export (have 4 png slices in it), clicking Export, folder browser shows up and instantly freezes the app. Force quit the app, repeat.

Help.

This bug is not new, btw. It happened in Photo 1 and I was hoping it was fixed by 2.

Thanks for your report, and sorry for the delay replying. As you say this is not a newly reported problem. I have bumped the report with the developers, but we have never replicated the problem. For users with this problem it happens a lot, so there must be something about our recipe that is missing to recreate the problem more often. Do you have a cloud sync on your device and if so is it Google Drive, OneDrive or something else? Also what network/other drives do you have?

Same here but with version 1.10.6 on MacOS Ventura 13.1 (iMac 2017).

In my case the only cloud service running right now is iCloud. I had Creative Cloud Sync active but stopped it for testing–did nothing.

Besides that there is a network drive which I am not connected to.

It may be that Photo freezes if you change to the directory in which the same .afphoto file lies.

I tried moving the file to another place–no freezing.

I tried a directory with a different .afphoto file–no freezing.

The issue "Export Persona hang in Open and Save Panel Process when Exporting Slices" (REF: AFD-5921) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1781".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
