Maddie.gee Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 I am trying to export a file as a PDF, but Af Pub2 is failing to load a preview on the export window, and it will not export. There is no error code, it just does not create a PDF, so I'm not sure what this issue is. It will not export as any other file either, only .afpub. This is for a school assignment, so if anyone knows how to fix this, your help is greatly appreciated. mgirouard_fivegridlayouts.afpub Quote

Maddie.gee Posted December 11, 2022 Author Posted December 11, 2022 Thank you.... I can't find the same sort of problem I'm having in these threads though. Everyone seems to have an error code, or a buffering screen, but I get nothing at all. No error code, it's just as if I never chose to export at all. Quote
Maddie.gee Posted December 11, 2022 Author Posted December 11, 2022 That is extremely strange. My professor was able to export it, no crashing, no problem. I just tried your suggestion, and it works! Thanks for the help. Quote

Pšenda Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 As write Maddie "There is no error code, it just does not create a PDF". I'll just add - the progressbar doesn't even appear. Staff Patrick Connor Posted March 27, 2023 Staff Posted March 27, 2023 @Maddie.gee Sorry for the delay in replying. You may have spotted this already but your attach file has been looked at by the team and spotted this Quote If you go to the section manager, you’ll find that there’s one section (in this document) and this is marked to not be included on export. This means that nothing should export, regardless of whether you are set to all spreads or all pages (although selection should still work). If you tick "include on export" and then try an export, it works. Quote Patrick Connor Serif Europe Ltd Latest V2 releases on each platform Help make our apps better by joining our beta program!
