dcgall
Maybe I’m doing this wrong - but what is the point of the Snap On/Off (in upper right corner) when I still have to drop down the snap-to options and turn things off. I would think that Snap OFF/DISABLE would disable all selected options. Someone please tell me the point of the upper right snap enable/disable. Snapping is either on, or off, as controlled by that button. When it's on, there are various options for how it will work, which you set using the pull-down next to that button. When it's off, those options shouldn't make any difference, as far as I know. When you have Snapping turned off, what is happening that you need to disable further? dcgall
I’ve attached a video to illustrate my issue. In the video that I’m moving a node and it is snapping. I turn off SNAP and it continues to snap. When I select the snaping options and disable Snap to node ‘ Snap to Geometry, then the SNAP is finally disabled. Is this by design and I’m doing something wrong or my expectations are wrong? IMG_0860.MOV

The Move tool snapping controls object snapping (toggles on/off with magnet controller top right. The Node tool (your example, has seperate node specific snapping options which are turned on/off in the node tools context menu. Expectations? Different tools, different snapping features with different control options. walt.farrell 1 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
