diversario Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Right now, it is difficult to create pixel-perfect selections using marquee tool because the size of the selection isn't shown while selection in progress (the Info panel is reporting inaccurate size). Having a little tooltip next to the cursor that reports the size of the current selection would be very, very helpful. royst0n and Jimmypearf 2 Quote

Staff Chris B Posted October 26, 2016 Staff Posted October 26, 2016 Right now, it is difficult to create pixel-perfect selections using marquee tool because the size of the selection isn't shown while selection in progress (the Info panel is reporting inaccurate size). Hey diversario. Can you elaborate on this for me? It sounds like it could be a bug. Thanks! Update - Are you referring to the Transform panel reporting one size while dragging out the marquee and then it displaying something else when you release the mouse click? If so, this is normal. If you have your document set to pixels, the marquee is making a pixel selection and will round up to the nearest pixel. diversario Posted October 26, 2016 Author Posted October 26, 2016 I am referring to that, yes, but what I'm saying is it would be great if the current selection size were displayed floating next to the cursor - basically, the way photoshop has it. Quote
