Godlessape Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 Im working on a document with loads of layers, im duplicating some layers to avoid creating new layers which jump to the top of the layers stack. Its kind of handy becasue of how it stays in line with my group layer naming system - I just need to edit one detial in the name for consistency- but after I edit the name to suit my filing system, when I make an edit to a curve in the layer it automatically gets renamed "curve" Its a bit tedious, particularly because Im spending so much time trying to keep the names in order. Is this normal? Shouldnt it leave my layer names alone? Is there a setting im missing? Thanks. Quote

How are you renaming the layer? What sort of edit are you making? StudioJason 1 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Godlessape Posted November 30, 2022 Author Posted November 30, 2022 I just renamed the layer by tapping the layer options 3 dots, tapping the name and amending what was already written there, Then all I did to the vector on the layer is adjust the existing curve/shape from the copied layer, delete some nodes, move some stuff.... I did it twice that it happened, the name just changed from whatever I had written to : "curve" To bypass it Im just duplicating an empty group layer and working in that.. Quote

Please could you tell me if this bug still occurs with our latest 2.0.4 version and if so would you be able to provide a screen recording demonstrating the problem? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
