Revanian
After developing RAW Layer embedded, and coming back to the image (after saving the afphoto file) the before and after view of the image is identical. This is with "show on all layers" selected or not. Is this a bug or how should this function? I was trying to see and compare the original base version of the RAW file before any Develop/Photo persona adjustments.
carl123
I think this is probably by design When you are in the initial stage of adjusting a RAW file, you get the before/after view for that RAW editing session Once you develop the image then re-enter the develop persona you are in a new RAW editing session and the before/after view will now show you the edits you do in that new session only. What would be nice is if all Develop persona snapshots were maintained after exiting and re-entering the develop persona (but this may lead to file size issues) Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Staff Chris B Posted November 22, 2022 Staff Share Posted November 22, 2022 I would have to agree with carl123 here—as well as the second part regarding snapshots but as mentioned, it may introduce massive file bloating. Revanian
Thanks for the replies, that makes sense but limits the effectiveness if I can't see the original starting point.
