Designer/Publisher: 2 questions for Outlines

In Designer and Publisher: From within the Preferences > User Interface > Untick Show Lines in point

In:  preferences / user interface - untick show lines in points.

For 1. you go to the Preferences and there is a check box in the User Interface section "Always show Lines in points" Uncheck it, now your lines can be set in the Units of Measurement for your document.

For 2. I think you want Layers > Expand Stroke.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
