Paint fabrics onto a mannequin using Photo 2?

Recommended Posts

I am currently using Photoshop to "paint" a swatch of men's clothing (suits, sportcoats, shirts & ties) onto a suit jacket which is draped on a mannequin.  Is there a way to do this using Affinity Photo 2?  Ideally, improving the look of the final image to include warping the pattern around the curves of the garment.

There is also a Live warp filter.

Note sure why we need the Liquify persona anymore - Anyone?

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Thank you for your replies.  This is a process we currently do in Photoshop.  I had tried this in Photo a few years ago but couldn't figure out how to accomplish it.  I had also reached out at that time and was told it couldn't be done so I dropped the idea.  I haven't tried this at all since.  I am reaching out to see if it is possible before investing the time into the project.  I would like to move off of Photoshop.

Do they allow export of the warp mesh or -settings to be reused across different documents/patterns?

All I know beyond the liquify persona is the mesh warp tool and that won't let me reuse anything.
