Unless I am missing a setting, layer groups are all represented by a folder icon instead of the small thumbnail that v1 had. Is this intentional, or have I hopefully missed a setting to restore the thumbnail view for layer groups? It makes quickly identifying the group you are looking for much quicker.

Thank you for raising this issue, donka. Saved me making a new thread! 

The layer thumbnail previews save me from naming all my layers. I was quite disappointed opening my project files in v2 to see a big list of unidentifiable groups!

I made a post about this here. I think "show group thumbnails" should be on by default.
