Took me a while to find it - as it's now sharing an icon with the Pencil (had to use the shortkey B to reveal it) but I can't see where to set variation on pressure etc?

Basic settings can be found along the left next to the side bar and at the top but I can't see where the more refined settings are?

This seems more appropriate as a Question than as Feedback, awakenedbyowls. A Moderator may want to move it, but please confirm which versio nof the app you have. I think you might be describing an iPad layout?

In any case, the controller (pressure, velocity, etc.) is on the top bar on the iPad, and for Pressure I think you would use the Stroke Studio.

Which is WHERE - on the new version? (both Windows and iPadOS)

Hi awakened by owls,

To edit a brush on iPad, click tap the brush icon on top right of the interface, once you have selected the brush you wish to edit, swipe left on the brush to reveal a menu which includes the edit option.   (shown here on photo but it's essentially the same).

The process is similar on desktop, click the brushes tab in your studio (if not visible, enable it in the View  menu at the top of your screen).

You can double click or right click >  edit   to edit brushes.

I see - swipe left has replaced the function on the iPad previously whereby I had to hold the pencil down on each brush for a second to open the edit functions - and it's still right click on Windows.

There was an option on the box that appears on the bottom of the screen in V1 called "more" though (on the iPad) which is what I was looking for - I just noticed that to the left of the options at the top of the screen where you can set Pressure (say) and Stabiliser options there are two circles - one for adjusting the Colour and the one next to the left will open up the set of options I was looking for to set Size and Opacity Variance - this appears to replace the "more" options in V1

The Stroke panel/studio is in the same place in Windows as it was in V1. And also in the same place on the iPad, I think.

But if you were talking about brush editing, that's different, and you now have that answer, too :)

These perform the same functions and I've never really figured out why there are two ways to do this or figured out a way to save different Brush settings that's compatible with my work flow - I tend to default to the Solid Pen With Pressure brush when drawing and adjust the Size variation to 100% and Opacity to 0%. I'm not really sure what I used to do on Windows for this as I've not used my XP-Pen since I got my iPad (and considering selling it) For Pixel Brushes I just take the standard brushes on offer and adjust the Stroke Size etc. and just write down what I did for a particular effect/aspect of a design in a notepad so I can repeat it if wanted in the future - I'm proper old skool me

Anyway - terminological confusions aside - it was the little button called MORE that I was looking for - and now I found it so that's all that matters, cheers.

Still not seeing anything in V2 that doesn't just do exactly the same as V1 but in a different way to justify upgrading
