Yaoif Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Hello, I'm a long time Affinity user and I'm very interested in updating to V2 as it looks like a great programme with many new features and enhancements. My questions is if I can keep all the V1 programmes on my computer while installing the new V2, or I need to uninstall V1 before having V2 installed? Cheers Quote
Catshill Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Yes you can have both together but once saved in v2 you cannot then open them in v1. Quote

As noted in another post: if you make a SAVE AS for a v1 file which you opened in v2 and give it a slightly different name, you can then close it; you will have a new v2 file and the v1 file will still be available to open in either v1 or v2. Naturally additions or changes made in the new v2 version will not appear in the original v1 file.
