Creating Portrait Poster Size (20x30" @ 300dpi, RGB) crashes application

To get you working again, you can try this:

  1. Press and hold the Ctrl key until step 4
  2. Start the application
  3. Watch the Windows Taskbar for the application to start, and if you do not see a Clear User Data dialog on the screen click the Taskbar icon.
  4. Release the Ctrl key
  5. In the Clear User Data Dialog, uncheck Reset Studio in the top section. Uncheck Clear User Defaults in the top section. Check Clear Document Presets in the bottom section, near the bottom.
  6. Click Clear.
  7. If that does not get you running, try all this again, but in step 5 leave Clear User Defaults checked instead of unchecking it.

Thanks for letting us know, if the app is crashing when creating new documents this usually indicates an issue between Affinity communicating with your GPU.

I'd recommend making sure that your GPU drivers are fully up to date, directly from the manufactures website to avoid these crashes.
