Hello,

I am very happy learning Affinity Designer, excellent tool and very intuitive, but always I am having problems with text format 😭

What I need is to "Expand" just a little more the sentence: The capital U and the final S has to be aligned with the vertical guides, I do not have any idea of how to.

Please help

Came

Hi @camelia,

Thanks for your kind feedback, we're glad to hear you're enjoying using the apps as much as we enjoy making them!

I'd recommend using the Artistic Text Tool for this, as text in a standard Text Frame will remain consistent, regardless of the size of the frame - however Artistic text can be transformed, where the text size will follow the transform.

Therefore, if you copy this text from your Text Frame object into a new Artistic Text object, you can then use the Move Tool to adjust the size of the Artistic Text, such that it lines up with your guides.

I hope this helps :)
