Astrobiker Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 I have been using Affinity Photo on 2 macs both using the intel chip and I purchased them via the App Store. I have upgraded one of the macs to an M2 chip. They are both running the same OS Monterey and are both logged into the app store. However, the M2 machine says I have to purchase Affinity Photo again, hopefully this is not the case. Would be grateful for information as to how I can install it on my new machine Quote
Staff StevenS Posted September 18, 2022 Staff Posted September 18, 2022 Hi @Astrobiker, If your Affinity app purchase was made through the Mac App Store it is tied to your Apple ID, and will also not require a Product Key. If you need to install it again, run the Mac App Store ensuring that you are signed in with the same account/credentials used to complete the purchase and the button which usually says "Buy" should instead say "Install", click on it to begin the installation of the program. If you find that this is not happening, please contact Apple for further assistance. https://www.apple.com/support/mac/app-store/ Quote Any spelling or grammatical errors found in the above post are deliberate and included to boost the self-esteem of those who spot them.

Are you sure you're signed-in to the MAS with the same Apple ID? Or perhaps you need to sign-out and sign-in again. Astrobiker Posted September 19, 2022 Author Posted September 19, 2022 PROBLEM SOLVED thank you for the replies the solution was indeed to change the icloud account.
