Anthony Okon
Is it possible to have a color palette generator with color harmony rules built into Affinity?
GarryP
You might get a response to your suggestion/question if you explain more about what you mean by “color palette generator” and “color harmony rules”. The terms “color palette”, “generator”, “color harmony” and “rules” are too vague to give us an idea of what you actually want. If you give us an example scenario, and tell us what you want to do with it, and tell us how you would like to do it, then you might get people interested in this. Note: If you tell us which Affinity application(s) you have – there are three applications in the Affinity range which all have differing functionalities – then someone might be able to tell you about functionality which already exists. PaulEC
I'm assuming something like the "Colour Scheme Designer", that was in PagePlus. (It could actually be quite useful sometimes.) carl123
Also, see Colour Chords https://affinity.help/photo/English.lproj/index.html?page=pages/Clr/clrChords.html?title=Colour chords Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Anthony Okon
I meant something similar to the Adobe color palette generator where you click on a color and you see the colors that will work using different color harmonies rather than having to extract a palette from a photograph. (Just a thought). I actually have all 3 applications.
GarryP
You can get something simple via the hamburger menu of the Colour Panel – see attached image. One problem with this is that you can’t see the colours before they are generated.
Anthony Okon
Thanks for the illustration. I was hoping that the problem would be improved upon. I was thinking a real time visible generator will be widely appreciated as this will make work a little easier and faster as you can just dial in your main color and just sample immediately or copy the hex code if needed.
