MichalM
I've installed a trial version on MAC of AF. Eeach time I run the app I see this: What's going on? I don't want to have any big file (2,93GB) on my desktop and wait several minutes for running the app. What is this? How to normally install the app? Dan C
Hi @MichalM, Welcome to the Affinity forums A colleague has previously covered the Mac installation steps here - Once the app has been installed, you can right click on the mounted disk icon on your desktop and select 'Unmount' to remove this. I hope this helps!

The thing is... after unmounting archive from my desktop and clicking the app icon - all the steps repeat again: - icon is jumping - archive is again mounted on desktop and I see a big file - I'm waiting serveral minutes for processing something (I don't know what)

You have an icon for the installer .dmg file on your desktop. 2. You are clicking on that icon, rather than on the icon for the installed application, which would not be on your desktop. But then 3GB archive appears on the desktop. App is already installed. I want to run an app in 1 second ... without mounting anything, unpacking and get of rid of this big file on the desktop. I don't understand what's going on. Edited August 23, 2022 by MichalM

If your Applications folder doesn't look like this then you have not installed Photo. Drag the one in the Dock out and away from the dock to remove it from the dock entirely. Now start Photo from the Photo Application Icon in the Applications folder. Your problem really does sound like the Icon in the Dock is from the .DMG file and not the one in the Applications folder.
