Brush doesn't paint

I don't understand that, it often happens. I have it here with an empty white area on the screenshot.

I select the brush, set color, etc., I want to paint that, the assistant inserts a new layer and it paints nothing.

I can't paint anything on the screenshot, the canvas remains white.

What am I doing wrong?

I now have a new filled layer on which he paints and now again a new pixel layer on which the brush does not paint again, why is that?

Try increasing the Fluss/Flow setting to 100% (or somewhere close to that).

I also painted it with flow 10 % before, on 100 % i also tried again, nothing works.

 

😀 Ok, vielen Dank, es lag tatsächlich an Tranzparenz schützen, das muss ich mich jetzt noch mal durchlesen, wofür das genau ist 👍🏻 Danke. Ich hab das vorhin scheinbar falsch getestet als ich das schon einmal deaktiviert hatte

Ich finde nur Ebenen schützen in der Hilfe. Warum ist das beim Malpinsel verfügbar, bzw. wo finde ich das in der Hilfe?

Ok, habs unter Auftragen von Pinselstrichen gefunden 🙃

It originally occurred to me that @BenDE might be trying to paint over a transparent area, but when I saw the word “screenshot” I thought there wouldn’t be any transparency, so I didn’t bother to look for the ‘Protect Alpha’ setting.
