Milos Micatek
Merry Christmas :) I have a question if there would be possibility to add all 4 options to "Create compound" command and/or have an option to change default "Add" choice? I mostly use this feature to subtract one shape from the other so I always need to change it from "Add" to "Subtract" in Layers. It could be also great to have these options available in Preferences to be able create the custom shortcut(s). I mean: Create compound ➤ Add Create compound ➤ Intersect Create compound ➤ Subtract Create compound ➤ Xor Quote • MM Font Factory •
Staff Callum Posted December 29, 2015 Staff Share Posted December 29, 2015 Hi Milos Micatek, The Geometry options are available in Preferences so you can edit the Shortcuts they are found in the Layers section just below your first screenshot. Rather than having a shortcut for Creating a compound and then Subtracting you could just use both shortcuts one after another. :) C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. Milos Micatek
...The Geometry options are available in Preferences ... Thank you, Callum. I know these options are available in AD, but I prefer to work with non destructive compounds. ;) Quote • MM Font Factory •
A_B_C
Hi Milos, if you shouldn’t already know, you can Option + Click the boolean operation buttons on the main toolbar to create non-destructive compounds instantly. Cheers, Alex :) Milos Micatek
