enrique_el_fotografo Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 I'm trying to use "new focus merge" and it's not working, I added three files and it only merges the first two, I tried with just two files and it only shows me the first file, it seems to always ignore the last (bottom) file, it doesn't even show on the source list when merge is completed. Staff Callum Posted May 4, 2022 Staff Posted May 4, 2022 Hi Enrique, Welcome to the forums In regards to an image being missed if possible could you provide a screen recording demonstrating this issue? In regards to the source list not showing please could you try going to View > Studio > Sources. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.

Thanks C I'm probably not explaining myself correctly, the source list does come up on the screen after the merge, but in that list the last file is always missing. Quote
Old Bruce Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 This is going to be effectively impossible to solve without the original files from @enrique_el_fotografo. It could be something as simple as one of the files having no information to be added to the Focus Merge, meaning it could be so poorly focused (or framed or it could have motion blur or ....) compared to the others that Affinity Photo is rejecting it. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

You could zip them and attach the file to another post in this topic, if they are images you're willing to share publicly. If you can't share them publicly, then one of the Moderators can provide a private Dropbox upload link. Please let me know if you would like me to send you a private link to upload the files to, otherwise you should be able to attach a zip file to this thread as Walt has mentioned.
