How to reduce to four colors?

Recommended Posts

I have two portraits that I want to process this way:
They should both be reduced to four colours. That works well with the tone separation. However, I want the same four colours in both pictures. How can I achieve this?

Hi,

Maybe combine both images in one document (side by side), do the color separation, finally use export persona / slices to export them separately?

How do you separate tones?

Do you use Photo or Designer?
Could you upload a set of example images, and the desired result?

I do not understand how this is being done to end up with just four colors so I would appreciate it if the OP (or anyone else) can explain more about that.
