gardenteacher Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 I have tried resetting studio , resetting presets, and uninstalling and reinstalling affinity designer. I still have a double vector toolbar and my text icon is no longer visible or available. I'm on an MSI GS76 STEALTH running windows 10. What did I do to mess up my vector tools and how can I fix it? Thank you. Quote
v_kyr Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Hi and welcome! You may want to check the customization of your tool panel, see therefor ... Customising the tool panel ... there then especially ... Quote To remove/or add a tool: From the View menu, select Customise Tools. Drag a tool icon from the Tools panel into the pop-up menu, or vice versa. Click Close. walt.farrell Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Specifically within View > Customize Tools you have both the Move Tool group (which contains the Move Tool and the Artboard Tool) and the individual Move and Artboard Tools in your Tools panel. The Move Tool group is not there by default, so it must be one you added. You could either delete it, or you could delete the individual Move and Artboard Tools to recover some space. gardenteacher Posted April 2, 2022 Author Posted April 2, 2022 Thank you all for the help- resetting the tools was the answer, such a simple fix. I'm a beginner and haven't quite gotten to learn all the ins and outs of the software. Thanks again! Quote
