Hey guys, hope you are well.
Need a bit of help with this image. The line at the bottom of the controller that connects to the top is a bit inconsistent with the black and white parts if you zoom in a bit. I have tried to look at various tools like the healing tool but can't get it to look tidy. Can anyone help with how I can fix this so its look more like a straight line?

Welcome to the forums @RAZORRHEAD

Your question would have been better asked in the appropriate “Questions” section of the forums rather than the “Share your work” section as the “Share your work” section is for people to show the things they have created with the software, a bit like a gallery, rather than ask questions. A moderator will probably move this thread for you so there’s no need to duplicate this elsewhere.

Just to confirm, which section of the image are you referring to please?

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm referring to the area in red. It looks like dirt but I did clean the controller before taking the shot. Just trying to get it to look cleaner

I would probably just look at drawing a new line with the pen tool on a new pixel layer (follow the old line). You don't have to be 100% accurate, just 99%

Then use the inpainting tool to get rid of the original line on the background layer

Add an FX or 2 to give the new line some "depth"

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
